What is Halloween you may ask... It's the only day of the year you can get candy from any house that has a light on. So who, how, and when did this start? On February 14, 1925, a man named John Johnson ran out of candy and knew that his neighbor Andy Anderson had stocked up on candy after a special Christmas sale at his local super general store. As soon as his neighbor turned on his front porch light to look outside, John broke through Andy's window yelling "Trick or Treat!!!!!" He ran to the fridge and grabbed everything he saw (even an expired loaf of banana bread) and threw it in his pickup truck (no one knows where his pickup truck showed up). John ran back outside, and said "Hallow Een" (hallow is Minnesotian for hello) to his neighbor Een who was watching and documenting this incident. Because of leap year, Halloween no longer is on February 14.
