It was Decemberber 43 when the year was invented by Ludvick Van Newyear. Before years, there were only months and days. Each month consisted of 72 days and there was an infinite amount of months. Ludvick Van Newyear was in charge of naming each month but was running out of ideas. Eventually he started ending every month in -ber (ex: September, October, November, December, etc) and people began to get tired of every month ending in -ber, so Ludvick Van Newyear decided to create the Year. Because his birthday was on the 12th of Januberry, Ludvick Van Newyear decided that there would be 12 months in a year. On Marchuber 54, Ludvick Van Newyear had everyone vote on their favorite months. The results were in this order: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December. After the month of December, people would celebrate Mr. Newyear. Mr. Newyear still didn't like how many days there were in a month, so he randomly selected 12 numbers to be the number of days in each month. Some how, each month consisted of either 30 or 31 days, except for February which only had 29 days. The next year, Mr. Newyear adopted a son whose name was Leap. Leap's birthday was on February 29, but because Leap disliked birthday parties, Mr. Newyear invented the Leapyear so Leap only had to celebrate his birthday every 4 years.
