It's December and there's only 3 days till Christmas. That means that Hot Chocolate sales are at they're highest. Everyone enjoys a good glass of hot hot chocolate, but not everyone knows the science behind it. That's why today we are going to answer the most important question of the season, "What is Hot Chocolate?" To find out this challenging question, we talked to Nutritionist Debbie Watserlate. Dr. Watserlate informed us of the molecular structure found in the rich Hot Chocolate mixture. Because Hot Chocolate is a heterogeneous mixture (when you include marshmallows), it also demonstrates that the Lewis Dot Structure contains 12 valence electrons (because there's 12 days of Christmas). Dr. Watserlate stated "This leads us to the conclusion that not only is Hot Chocolate tasty, it's also a liquid." There you have it, Hot Chocolate is a liquid.
