The Speaker of the House (Friday, November 10, 2017)

Politics seem to be an important part of our lives even though they never affect us. So why do we even care? That's a discussion for another time... but what I'm trying to talk about is "What is the Speaker of the House?" Many politicians believe that a person who leads the House of Representatives is the Speaker of the House, but they are in fact wrong, it's just a speaker. This is actually true and can be found in the constitution in Article 1 Section 11. It states that it is a requirement of the House to have a large 60 ft Dolby Surround Sound Speaker playing "Our House" at all time during the day. Unfortunately the leader of the House always stands in front of the speaker which is one of the reasons everyone thinks he is the Speaker of the House.
