Audio files are great, but if you add video it's like 10 times better and if it wasn't for the VHS, we wouldn't have video today. The VHS was the start of it all (even before the television) and it was all thanks to one man named Vander Winkle. During the 1200's Live Action Performances were at their finest, and Mr. Winkle was quite the fan. Unfortunately Mr. Winkle lived in Hollywood, and most performances took place in the great state of Broadway. Instead of moving to Broadway, he decided to create a way to put Live Action Performances into the American house hold. To do this, he invented the Vander Home System (VHS) in 1250. To his surprise, the VHS was an absolute failure and the only documented video released on VHS was the Stranded in the Wild (Accidental Edition) in 1367. But the VHS did lead to movie theaters in 1270 and in 1290 Hollywood became the official city for filming. However, in 1970 there was a revolution known as the Great Home Video Explosion. In this revolution, Americans across the country wanted to take movies into their house. Fortunately the Vander Home System Company was still around and took the opportunity to bring back the VHS. This time the VHS became one of the biggest success to man kind (even bigger than the Sham Wow), until the DVD was invented.
