Little known fact, Christmas Lights were invented by the Dutch. No one knows why, but we do know a man named James Jamestown invented these lights. We also know that James Jamestown brought these Christmas Lights to Jamestown at some point in history. We also know in 1734, a man named May Mayflower bought the patent for Christmas Lights at a farmers market in San Francisco. A year later, government records tell us that the stock market for Christmas Lights exploded. This is because The Incandescent Light Bulb Factory ran out of cookies in the workers lounge causing the workers to go on strike. This caused the price of the Incandescent Light Bulb to increase making Christmas Lights the main source of lighting. Eventually the Incandescent Light Bulb Factory restocked on cookies making the price of the Incandescent Light Bulb decrease causing Christmas Lights to not be used. However, every year during the winter the factory runs out of cookies, which causes an increase in the Incandescent Bulb price. That's why Christmas lights are only used during the winter.
