The space race began in the 50's when a man named Ron Robin said, "I wanna go to the moon!" No one realized that by that simple statement that it would spark an organized race to space. The contestants were Russia, Britain, and The U.S. The ref was Canada because they are really nice. The contestants were given 30 days to design a rocket, 2 days to drink some Canadian Tea, 8 days to buy materials from eBay and 4 days to construct the rocket. The object was to put a flag on the moon first and the winner would receive Alaska.
Here's what happened:
Day 1:
Russia: Skipped the design stage and went straight to constructing the rocket
Britain: Didn't realize the race started
America: Worked on creating eBay to buy materials
Day 2:
Russia: Launched their first rocket and discovered they invented a satellite
Britain: Still didn't hear about the race
America: Decided to take a Canadian Tea break
Day 10:
Russia: Decided it was time for some Canadian Tea
Britain: Also decided to have some Canadian Tea
America: Invented NASA
Day 20:
Russia: Discovered that they might need to make a design
Britain: Still drinking Canadian Tea
America: Published a book called "How to build rocket"
Day 30: Last Day for Designing
Russia: Got a copy of the book "How to build rocket"
Britain: Ran out of Canadian Tea and invented British Tea
America: Lost copy of "How to build rocket"
Day 32: Last day to drink Canadian Tea
Russia: Accidentally drank Canadian Coffee
Britain: Drank British Tea instead
America: Invented the Big Mac instead
Day 40: Last day to buy materials
Russia: Bought all materials from a local super market
Britain: Decided to start the Sea Race instead
America: Forgot to finish inventing eBay
Day 44: Last day to construct
Russia: Decided to join the Sea Race
