Today we bring light to a controversial subject you won't find in your public education institution, the British Imperial System, commonly referred to as The Grand Scheme by few undisclosed well-versed scholars. During the British's attempt at settling in the thirteen colonies, the British regime scrapped plans to adopt the International System of Units as a result of their self-centered government. One might also mention that the self-absorbed country also changed their official name to "Great Britain", which was later followed by "The United Kingdom". These attempts were both unsuccessful in becoming a prevalent nation of power (fun fact, putting "great" or "kingdom" does not actually make you more significant). After an attempt by Americans to make the Atlantic Ocean "tea flavored", King George III began scheming on how he could assert his dominance over the new colonies. The result of this was his creation of the Imperial System of Units with it's purpose to confine the Americans and stop any future attempts at converting the ocean to tea. King George III was successful at getting Americans to use this system of units, but the American's shortly modified the Imperial System to the United States Customary Units. It was now only a matter of time before they made the oceans tea flavored. However, due to the rising costs of tea, the Americans ended Operation Pacific Tea Flavor and declared independence. Because of the lack of communication between British Parliament and the King, Great Britain unknowingly adopted the wrong system of units. Great Britain still continues to struggle with it's use of the Imperial System of Units as King George III was never successful at contacting the British Parliament about this mistake before his death in 1820.
