It was the middle of May in 1778, and a man named Thankful Tim was going to have a party. For this party, Tim was making fried chicken, baked potatoes, green bean soup, cranberry juice, and muffins. However, he burnt the fried chicken and had to make a turkey instead, the baked potatoes were accidentally smashed, the green bean soup was baked creating a casserole, the cranberry juice wasn't juiced, and the muffins looked like biscuits. Because of all the cooking errors, Tim and his friends didn't eat till around 2 o'clock. Tim also noticed while eating that all of his friends brought May Flowers (no one knows why). The dinner was so good, that one of his friends (George Washington) decided to make this day a holiday. But because May Day already took place in May, Washington moved the holiday to November 24.
