No, I did not misspell "enlightenment" . The English dictionary actually misspelled this word because the dictionary is a prank. The Enlightningment first began in the 1500's when Mrs. Static was struck by lightning. Mrs. Static was the first human to ever of been struck by lightning, so humans were shocked! So shocked, a local band wrote a song called Lightning Struck. A few days later, scientists from around the world came to America to study this shocking discovery, lightning! A year later, Newton wrote a book about this discovery titled, "My First 3 Laws". This historical movement would later be called the Enlightningment by the famous scholar Caveman Dave (also the inventor of the wheel). But according to Cass and Ette, the Canadians who invented the Cassette Tape, they argued that Caveman Dave had died in the 1200's. In conclusion, no one knows why this era is called the Enlightenment.
